DSDM is an Agile approach that was introduced to the world to provide a uniform industry/business framework for fast-tracking software delivery.
Since then, the DSDM methodology has drastic advancements. It lays the foundation stone to conduct planning, executing, managing, and boosting the agile process and continuous software development projects.
KSApex’s DSDM philosophy is based on 8 basic principles, they lead the team and promote the mindset of “on-time delivery, within budget delivery”. It helps us to understand the client’s business value, their requirement, user and developer’s active involvement, empowering teams, continuous delivery, combined testing, and collaboration with stakeholders and end-users.
It is an 80:20 ratio for us to define the delivery timeline and acceptance of the system. We focus on 80% of the deployable system in 20% of the time.
By following the following DSDM principles we have successfully overcome the risk of under quality and late delivery of projects. These principles play a vital role in strengthening the bond between KSAPEX and our clients.
Our team takes the Business Requirements as baselined at an exceedingly early stage in the project. All the rework is built in such a way ensuring our clients and customers that it can be reversible if any recent changes are introduced. Sprints or iterations- Time-boxes for fixed lengths where a system requirement is planned briefly. We organize using MoSCoW Rules.
MoSCoW Rules:
M – Must have requirements
S – Should have if possible
C – Could have but not critical
W – Will not have this time, but potentially later
